iPad Pro 9.7: Week 1 Update

So far i’ve had my iPad Pro for about a week and all of my lovely accessories have come in and I’ve had plenty of time to use them. Last week you saw the few perks of the iPad Pro, including the Apple Pencil, the Silicone Case, and just some on display features. This week I want to talk about the Smart Keyboard, the Speakers, and the overall Speed of this device.

Smart Keyboard

So from the first glance it looked fantastic. I think you’d agree with me that it just looks to have a very pristine condition. The only think you need to note is that it doesn’t feel like a laptop keyboard, instead it feels like a material you’re typing on, but it didn’t take too long to get used to. I love typing on it, especially with how quickly it pairs with the iPad. It takes less than a second, and you are all set!

Next think I want to talk about is the different positions this Keyboard Case can go. It fits really well in this vertical position if you just want to watch a video or maybe a TV Show on Netflix.

Here below you can see how the iPad looks when it is connected to the keyboard. It isn’t too far up right and not too far back. The best condition to type something up.

I also wanted to show all of you what the inside of it looked like. I though this was super creative. The inside is super soft, almost like a microfiber type of feel, and the keyboard folds into it, and this material you see to the left covers your iPad giving it maximum protection.

Down below you can see how it looks when the cover is place on top of the screen.

Overall the Keyboard is absolutely fantastic. I think Apple did a wonderful job with the design and feel and I would definitely buy it again if I had to.

The speakers on this device are all you need anymore. Honestly with 4 speakers on this device, other portable speakers aren’t even necessary. If you have a small group of people this would be all you’d need. Check out the video below, and tell me it doesn’t sound great!

The last thing I wanted to talk about briefly is the overall speed of the device. I’ve heard people having issues with the fact that the iPad Pro 9.7 only has 2GB of RAM unlike the bigger Pro has 4 GB. I honestly can’t tell a difference. This device to my is very fast, from the highly responsive Touch ID all the way to flipping through apps when multitasking. I think it is more than enough for me and it is very quick.

I hope you enjoyed my update on the new iPad Pro 9.7! Next post about this device will get more into some of my favorite apps, other features I seem to enjoy and anything I think Apple should fix in the future.
